I’m not sure if these birds could make a good gumbo but they do look special. Courthouse Lane junk shop, yours for £60.

I’M NOW IN THE SECOND WEEK…THINKING ABOUT MY OPTIONS. HAVE ENLISTED THE HELP OF SEVERNTHIRTYSECOND WHO ARE STRUCTURAL BICYCLE FRAME ENGINEERS.

THE STARTING POINT FOR MY DESIGN IS A TANDEM, (AS PER LAST WEEKS BLOG), WHICH IS AN OLD 1970’s “SCHWINN CRUISER”. IN THE PROCESS OF CUTTING OUT PIECES OF THE BIKE I HAVE WEAKENED THE FRAME - HENCE WHY I NEED THE SERVCIES OF SEVERNTHIRTYSECOND, GOOD FRIENDS OF MINE WHO, FOR A FEW CHOICE ITEMS OF “SHARPEYE” CLOTHING, HAVE SOLD ME THERE SOULS. THEIR JOB IS TO WELD THE BIKE BACK TOGETHER SO IT’S STRUCTURALLY SOUND. THEY WILL ALSO GO THROUGH MY IDEAS AND CHUCK OUT THE STUPID/UNWORKABLE ONES!

One evening I thought about building a Beretta 9mm pistol out of Lego. It has always been the handgun for me so, on a whim, I decided to see what I could come up with. Without hitting the web for pictures, I threw one together in about 2 hours, using only memories from movies, video games and my friend’s Series 92 for reference. Since then the model has been refined in many ways. For detailed information on the evolution of the kit, read below. If you’d like to purchase one, now you can! The information here covers up to the 3rd generation of the model’s evolution, but we’re now offering a 4th generation version for sale which includes easier-to-follow instructions and a sturdier design.

I’ve been going to this chip shop in ‘Bletchley’ (Bletchley Park is where Alan Turing broke the ‘Enigma’ U-boat code in 1942) since I was a kid, I especially like the 1/2 button on the till.
